Kia Optima Tire Rotation
If you want the tires of your Kia Optima to wear evenly, then you must have regular tire rotation service. In this service, our technicians will reposition the tires, allowing the tire tread to wear evenly. The rotation pattern could be from front to back, right to left, or any pattern that suits the type of tire and suspension. With evenly earning tire tread, you will enjoy better handling of the vehicle. This includes improved braking performance for the vehicle. Some tire warranties require periodic tire rotation service for the validity of the tires. Tires with deep tread or new tires can wear at a faster rate. We recommend you consult with our technicians to determine the right service interval for your tires.
Kia Optima Tire Balancing
In tire balancing service, the tires and wheels are balanced using a tire balancing machine. This service reduces the vibrations and road noise from the tires, and it can improve the longevity of the tires. Tire balancing service also helps protect the suspension and steering system from excessive wear and tear.
Kia Optima Wheel Alignment
A wheel alignment service is required if the suspension angles do not match the factory specifications. The wheels can be misaligned due to worn-out suspension parts, hitting an obstacle on the road, or through an auto accident. The most common signs of misaligned suspicion include a crooked steering wheel, uneven tire tread, or pulling of the vehicle to one side. The most reliable way to check for misalignment is through regular tire inspections. We carry computerized tools and technology at Allentown Kia, including equipment to measure the suspension angles accurately.
